Tailbone pain?
Has anyone experienced tailbone pain? It isn't terrible pain or anything for me, it just kinda feels like I've been sitting the wrong way or something, so I guess it's just more "discomfort" than pain... Still, is this weird? I am @17 weeks with twins.

thanks - even this early on? It doesn't mean I'll have early labor or anything, does it?

Nothing to do with going into labor. Just the bones shifting as the babys grow they need more room.

Re: Tailbone pain?
Yes, when I was pregnant w/DD I started getting it at about 8 weeks!! The bad part is that for m even 2 years later it still hurts! I haven't had any additional problems with it this pregnancy though.

Re: Tailbone pain?
I DEF get this too - and at random times too! Sometimes it's from sitting, sometimes from standing, sometimes for laying on my side...it's unpredictable but I think totally normal!

ME TOO! THis was my very first symptom of being pregnant and then it was followed by sciatica. I was referred to Physical Therapy and they massaged the area, but I don't think it helped. I have good days and bad. Apparently, hormones have something to do with this.....uhhh!!

Re: Tailbone pain?
I started getting this at about 15 weeks. It comes and goes with me but when I have it it hurts pretty bad. Before I knew that this was related to pregnancy I thought something was wrong with me!
