Take Home Outfit....silly Q
My baby is due the beginning of July & I was at BRU last night...there were so many cute matching outfits but so many were not what would be considered comfortable, soft cotton....would you generally stick to cotton for their take-home outfit?

I think that's a great question, I certainly would stick with something cotton and in your case, since it's a summer baby, you can go with something on the lighter side. I would get something definitely with a cap/bonnet and if it's not a sleeper-type, something with detachable feet to keep it's tootsie warm!

I am due the same day as you, and for his take home outfit I got a cotton onesie with a blue star on it, and Matching pants which I think are cotton as well. My DD was born in July as well, and I took her home in a cotton sleeper.

I bought everything all cotton.
I did not pick the going home outfit yet but I am debating on a short sleeve or long sleeve/long leg outfit.
I am due end of June but it may be closer to mid-June.
I don't want baby to be too warm but I don't want him to be cold either.
I am opting out of top and pants because of the belly button. I want a one piece outfit

Not a silly question at all. I wondered the same thing and looked at many outfits before deciding on a cotton onesie that says "Daddy's Boy" on it. My SIL warned me that he'll probably either spit up on it or poop through it by the time we get home so to not stress about it too much.

We were shopping at Tanger today and went to Carter's. They have SO much stuff on sale, too! Great deals!
