Taking a 4 year old to get shots - Help!
My four year old needs to get up to date with her shots before school starts - she needs boosters. She is ADAMANT that she is not going.
Apart from carrying her in there kicking and screaming what can I do?
I have promised to take her to the candy store, ice cream store, toy store etc etc I have explained about how sick she will get if she does not take her medicine ( ie the "pinch" in the arm" ) I have told her all the kids are getting shots before they go back to school etc etc.
She wont take any of my bribes or reasoning and just says " I dont want to go to school"
Any tips?

Sounds like me when I was younger. My mom said I was a nightmare.
Sounds like you'll be carrying her in kicking and screaming and bribe after it's done.
My mom told me many nurses quiet b/c of me.

Well, i'm sorry to say i think you will probably end up carrying her in kicking and screaming. I got lucky with DS, he handled it very well, but he has been get shots/have blood taken and with his baby sister every month so it was more like well....if we can do it so can you. I also took him to toys r us after
