Taking Max home-update he's home
We are taking our boy home today but there's not much we can do for him.
We are just going to make him as happy as possible..he's not in pain just weak and wobbly. The meds didn't work.
Our hearts are breaking.

Re: Taking Max home
got him home and he's a mess. Moreso because of exhaustion. He won't eat. I hope he will tomorrow or later.
We went out to Petsmart and got him bowls that are raised from the floor so he won't have to bend down. he falls all the time.
The doc says nothing can be done. Should I take him for a second opinion?
He's 12, heart murmur, hypothyroid and now some kind of neuromuscular problem. Doc thinks it could be cancer but at this stage, he is so weak. Any treatment would surely kill him.

Susan I am so sorry...
I guess the best you can do at this point is make Max feel as comfortable as he can be.
Again, I am so sorry.

Re: Taking Max home-update he's home
any ideas about what to feed him...he's being so picky.
I've tried baby food, all kinds of wet food, tuna, milk, ice cream, soup, turkey..I'm out of ideas.

Re: Taking Max home-update he's home
I tried to get him to eat anything tonight and he would hover over the bowl and just stare into space.
When do I know it's time?
