We are just heading to SIL's for an early dinner---5:00. We'll be back home by 6:45. One of my friend's babysitters backed out last minute so I told her I would watch her DC. Sounds like a fun night of playing with the two 2-year-old girls!

the 2 1/2 of us were going to go out for dinner... but ds has a cold so we are ordering Thai and staying in.

I just cancelled b/c I saw 3 accidents in under 2 miles driving on the LIE. I am sure roads will freeze tonight. I will not take the chance.

DH is working tonight. I still haven't decided if I'm dragging my two sons out to my aunt's house. It's about 20 minutes away. Not sure if I feel like it since I would only stay a few hours anyway.

We usually have people over to our apt, but this year my sister is insisting on having it at her place. So we're going to trek out to Middle Island. We might not stay until midnight though b/c Kaydyn is teething again and has been pretty cranky. We'll see how the night goes.

Going to the next door neighbors!
We usually venture to my cousin's about 35 min. away, and leave around 9pm, but last year we were driving home on the NSP and there was a person driving erratically, weaving in & out, crossing the divider, surely a drunk driver. It was so scary, esp. having a little one in the car.
That was enough incentive to stay close to home this year.
Whatever you do, be safe & HAVE FUN!!!
