Talk to me about parenting classes...
Was it helpful? What did they teach? Would you recommend it? Im struggling with stress and frustration and inability to handle DD's constant crying and an thinking about taking a parenting to help imporve my parenting skills.

Hold on it's going to be a bumpy ride then
I do think parenting classes could be helpful - especially to let you know that you aren't alone. Terrible twos (which start anywhere from 14 months) are a tough stage.
Here is a sampling from a local library: http://web.northport.k12.ny.us/files/424197/Northport%20East%20Northport%20Public%20Library%20Parenting%20Programs.pdf. They have a class on tempering a temper tantrum, potty training, etc.

Do you live close to Adelphi? They have some good parenting classes.
ETA: Like Barb said, they help you to know that there are others going through the exact same situation as you!
