seriously, buy the "ultra thin" ones. pack some in your hospital bag.
Use their bulky ones day one. start with ones that are really bulky with an icepack built in it...switch over to the regular ones... day 2, have a nice shower and switch to the ultra thin ones. BIG difference..... honestly, you'll be so wrapped up in the baby that the ultra thin shouldnt bother you. The thick hospital ones could be a bit anoying but much needed for right after

I dreaded this part as well....but dont mind it so much now that im going through it. No tampon will take care of the amount of blood...as pps have said...
i took alot of the pads from the hospital....and once the bleeding slowed some i just am wearing reg pads... annoyin yes, but only way for now...
