Target Toy Sale
I went today, most are 30 and 50 off. The pricier Lego stuff is still at 15 off. Thursday I believe is the day for making down to 70 off. This was Valley Stream Target.

Yep I heard Thursday too. I've never gone, and I was told usually on Long Island not much is left once they hit 70%. I guess I'll check it out Thursday.

I was in White Plains store today and everything was 30-50% off. I still picked up a couple if things that they only had 1-2 of. The lady couldn't tell me when it was going to 70% off, but she did say their mark down day us Thursday.

How do mark downs work?
My store is still mostly 30%.
Do they mark down multiple times per week or will they mark down to 50% and then to 70% the week after?

I went to the target in levittown today and they are stil at 50%. But they don't really have anything great at all. Last year I did we'll but I didn't see anything I would buy even at 70% off.

Went to Riverhead today. Nothing worth mentioning. But they had cute alphabet stuff (charts, stickers, flashcards) in the dollar section.

Target Toy Sale
I would call before you go, or look on here to make sure the toys have been marked down. Many stores all over the country are having computer problems, and their price scanner system isn't working, so that means no markdowns. Setauket and CI are both down. Setauket however has one aisle that was done before the crash. Play-doh and remote control stuff (planes, etc.)

What are you finding on sale? I looked last week and there was nothing that really interested me at 50% that I felt I had to go back to get at 70% off. Last week legos were only 15% off. The stores near me had very little on sale. It is pouring cats and dogs here so I am not sure I want to go out more than necessary.

I didn't find anything that was worth the markdown IMO. A lot of it is crap toys. I picked up some playdoh sets for less than $5 tot throw in DS's treat bag for going on the potty.
Other than that nothing else was worth the mark down

If planning a trip to a commack target, commack south (the one by costco) is marked down more than north (by macys).
