tattoo question
I think I'm going to get my tattoo over the Xmas break and I'm not exactly sure what I want to get. Initially I wanted to get Luca's name in script on the inside of my writs, but now I'm thinking when I have another baby, do I really want a collection of names all over my body. So now I'm thinking of getting an "L" for my son and an "S" for DH and leaving room for another initial (we're only planning on having on e more.) Now the only issue with that would be that it will be slightly off center to save room for the other letter. Do you think that would look weird? Do you have any other suggestions?

Re: tattoo question
First I will say make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the tattoo you are going to get. From personal experience I can tell you cover-ups are painful & usually muddy looking.
OK PSA over, I think that if you are afraid that if it will look unbalanced if it remains only two, bring it to your tattoo artist and have it placed in a spot where it will look ok with 2 or 3 initials. For instance over a hip or on the back to one side might be OK to have 2 or 3 initials. I also think if you bring your idea to your artist they may be able to tweak your design/idea to allow for another initial without it looking awkward at all.
A friend of mine has 4 kids and she has a branch with flower buds, flowers and a viney look. Whenever she had another kid, she'd add the name in a creative way. For example, her first daughter's name is in a rose, the second is in a leaf, the third is in a ribbon that is in a bird's mouth, and the last is in a ladybug. It came out well and was a creative way to be able to add names.

I think that's what I need to do. Go to the tattoo artist, tell him what I have in mind, and let him design it.

This is what I am going to do. I want my boys names in a cross, one name going horizontal and one going vertical, and having them criss cross where the "T's" are. Not sure where on my body to put it. Im a teachers, so I want it where the students will NEVER see it.
