which is better to do Certif paperwork through ?
TEACH Online gives a choice of either.

I did it through BOCES, and had to pay $25, but it was faster than my friend who sent it through the state directly.
He sent his in in July 07 and got it back in April 08 (after his provisional had expired in Jan, that's how long it took!!!!!)
I sent mine in August 07 and got in in Jan 08! (through BOCES)
Be prepared to wait!!!

NYS stinks - I was sitting in limbo through them for MONTHS...My district intervened and they finished it in ONE DAY!
so I would go through your district or your college first - BOCES next - NYS never.

I did it through my local Boces.
now if im looking for work, do they accept that it's pending ?
any way to speed up the process ?
