Teaching Certification Question....
So received my Masters in Childhood Education Grades 1-6 in late 2005. I received my initial certification.... I subbed for a year or so and then had my DD and have not taught since. Question is.... if in a few years after done with having kids, I want to pursue teaching again....will I have to get another Masters's? Recertified? How does that work? TIA!

Re: Teaching Certification Question....
I'm pretty sure you can apply for an extension. Definatly don't have to get another Masters or Recertified.

Re: Teaching Certification Question....
I would apply for an extension ASAP! (before your initial certificate expires, otherwise, you might have to take more classes, etc.) Child care is one of the reasons that they will grant an extension.
