Team green peeps: Would this change your mind?

I posted a couple of days ago about possibly finding out and doing an easter reveal. Here's why: We are most likely moving over the summer. Not great timing. We weren't looking to move, but we found a house we couldn't resist. Because we have to close on our current house first, we may be closing on new house very close to my due date. I love being team green, but now I'm feeling like maybe I should know to make packing easier. I have two girls and if I find out it's a boy, I won't have to move with 18 bins of girl clothes and can get rid of baby girl toys prior to moving. But on the other hand, I don't love that I'll be giving up a moment I love (in the delivery room) for moving. Thoughts?

It wouldn't change my mind. I love that moment in the delivery room way too much to give it up. I'd suck it up & move the bins. Totally personal preference though I'm sure you'll ask others who would think its crazy to move all of it but I mean if you find out it's another girl you're moving it anyway so I'd wait & not give up that special moment

ITA. After having those delivery moments twice already and looking forward to the third, I can't imagine doing it any other way.

If it's just a matter of the bins, I wouldn't change your game plan. I don't think it will impact the move enough to change the element of surprise you've been waiting for.

I'm never a team green girl but I agree with this... I wouldn't let one impact another. Have your moment and you'll figure out the clothes after.

that would change my mind to be honest, but i am a complete control freak and very organized.

I was not team green with dd though, and I can't really speak about the moment you find out in the delivery room because I've never experienced that

I wanted to be team green with #2. I always wanted that moment in the delivery room. Then we bought a house and started packing up the house. #1 is a boy so I wanted to know if I needed to take all his cr*p with me. I couldn't stand having to move things that were not necessary or organizing, just to get rid of it. I ended up finding out and I don't regret it at all. I thought I was going to and be sad that I'd never have the moment, but I am totally glad I did. We had #1 tell us the gender so it was just as fun.

As you know, I was Team Green all three times. I'm not going to lie...the sound of "it's a boy!" for the 3rd time did not induce the same level of excitement it did the first time around. Not because it was yet another boy, because this time I honestly didn't care either way, so it was just like "Ok! Whatever!" Had it been a girl would I have still felt that way? I don't know. But I do know I would not be moving all those bins of clothes. I'm sure I don't have nearly as many bins as you and, if I didn't have to move them, I wouldn't. If anything is remotely inconveniencing to me and I have control over it, I eradicate it. So yes, it would change my mind.
