Tech says boy at 13 wk 5 day can this be?

So i went for my ultrascreen at 13wk5d and tech tried to look and said she thinks boy think she sees something sticking out. Is it too early still? or could it really be a boy. Im already 16 weeks and just debating if i should go to impact for a gender check. Not sure i can wait till 20 weeks. Im dying here.

We see a high risk and go to ultrasounds often and they have very good equipment there. Both tech and doctor were able to tell us at 13W6D and we confirmed it at around 16 weeks.

I had to have a sono at 14 weeks with DS and he guessed boy. He was right. But they can't be absolutely positive by then. You can always recheck at your 20 week.

Someone in my office was told at 13 weeks she was having a boy, but at her 20 it turned out to be a girl!

I would wait till the 20 weeks

I found out at my 13w 6d appt that we were having a boy, but I waited til 20 weeks to confirm before I did any planning. Still was a boy at 20 weeks.

We see a perinatologist because I'm high risk since it's twins. At 12 weeks they said they wouldn't even guess because they'd only have a 50/50 chance of being right.

I found out I was having when I was 14wks.

It might be right but definitely confirm at your level two.

I was told at 12 weeks that we were having a boy and at 17 weeks we found out it was a girl. This was 3 1/2 years ago, so maybe technology has really improved since then. I do know 2 girls who were told that they were having boys at 12 weeks and they had boys.

I went yesterday for my Ultrascreen and the Dr. asked if we were planning on finding out. We told him yes, so he tried to look between the baby's legs to make a "guess". He said it's still too early but sometimes if it's a boy, then can see a little something. In our case, he said he didnt see anything, so if he HAD to guess, he would say girl, but he told me not to go running out and telling everyone "the Dr. said it's a girl". Of course, my mother is taking it very seriously .

we found out ours was a boy at 12 weeks... and confirmed again at 20 weeks... so it does happen
