Jenelle's mom is probably a better parent than Janelle is right now which speaks volumes for how pathetic Janelle is. Her mom is crazy, but Janelle takes the cake.

I was wondering the same thing..
I thought it was so nice of Joe to lend her the money, he didn't have to do that. It is kind of sad that she has to ask him and her Mom couldn't help at all.

jennelle's mother is annoying. beyond annoying. and i think a lot of the issues with jennelle stem from how her mother treated and raised her.
jennelle however, does nee to grow up now since she has a baby. she shouldn't have chosen to stay out all night long with a boy over being with her baby. and coming home with hickey's showing... is it that hard to just put your hair down?? that would have eliminated some of the ridiculousness that went on. i'm not a fan of hickey's anyway.
i feel like jennelle is one of the immature guys on 16 and pregnant who just isn't ready to have a baby and doesn't take responsibility; they just choose their teen years over raising their baby. i find that most often we see the young guy being the one that does this... and not that it can't be the girl... but usually you see the girl mature fast and take responsibility. in jennelle's case she is like the deadbeat teen dad.
i love leah and corey. he's soo much better for her than the baby looking guy she was with before him. i never got that guy. i'm happy to see them doing well.
im also glad that adam seems to be coming around now. it might have taken a while... and hopefully it lasts. i do think sometimes people deserve a 2nd chance. this would be his LAST chance though.
It's also nice that joe has stopped being such a dbag to kailyn. that was just obnoxious to watch.

i agree with this.
i also think it's part her mom's fault. her mom has stolen the control here and she really leaves jennelle with no control at all... so really in a sense she is just the babysitter when she's alone with him.
she can't make decisions for him... even minute decisions. that actually is a babysitter to me. sad that she's the mother....

kailyn's mother pissses me off!! she's soo absent and never there for her daughter. i hate watching this girls mother. it's tragic to see how negligent she is in her life.
i remember one episode where kailyn was saying... stay longer... the mother was just like "absence makes the heart grow fonder... gotta go! haha"  i mean your daughter is saying things like I NEED YOU and you walk out on her time and time again.
I felt like the mother might have been able to help her with the money but she doesn't want to. i feel like she doesn't want to do a single thing for her daughter. i'm even surprised she gave her the boyfriends old car!! that was a shocker to me!!

I love Janelle's mom. She cracks me up! I'm sure tho, if she was my mom, I'd want to kill her. janelle is a moron, a train wreck. That guy is a LOSER. Ugh, he gives me the creeps.
Leah & Corey, so freakin adorable. I love how giddy they are with each other...like you can see the Love. I really wish them all the best.
Kailyn. I feel for her. She tries, she's going to school, taking care of her son, working. I can't stand her loser of a mom. I hope jo comes around and realizes what great girl he could have.
Chelsea. I like her, but I'm worried about her & Adam. yes, he's changed...but you neve rknow. I seriously hope he has turned his life around. When I think of things he said to her when Aubree was first born...I want to punch him.
On a side note- does it creep anyone else out how much Aubree looks like Chelsea's dad??!! It's freaky. Although- I have to admit- she's my favorite baby on that show.

Former Financial Aid worker here  . Unfortunately, even if a parent doesn't help their children out, Kailyn has to go by what her mom makes when she files for Financial Aid. She can technically file as an independent since she has a child...and if they are not giving her money then, then MTV is obviously giving her a huge paycheck.

I totally agree. This baby has Chelsea's dads face. I don't see Adam in this baby at all. I feel bad for her friend who though she was just getting Chelsea and the baby and now Adam. For some reason I think that Adam is sincere, if he has a job. I also can't see Chelsea finishing her work within a month and I dont think she is going to get into school.
As for Janelle, I can't stand her. I started to FF through her last night. The guys she picks, staying out late knowing you have to watch your son the next morning, the hickeys that guy was gross! I did hear a while back that she was arrested for pot, wonder if that will be brought up at the reunion.

she needs a good old fashioned beating!!!!!!!!
While I think the mother is a loon.. Jenelle makes me want to reach through the tv and knock her lights out!
she stayed out ALL night and came home with hickies and that guy was disgusting.. she needs to have respect for herself!

I was thinking the same thing. That lady should have mentioned that to her. I cant see how she wouldnt qualify. Poor girl!!

I think he does pay the rent for them. I have heard Chelsea say that her dad pays the bills while she goes to school. I don't think her friend has a job either.

I think Jenelles mom has to be a nagging PIA b/c Jennelle acts like she has no responsibility. Shes supposed to "babysit" her son and says she found a reason to stay out all night so she is hungover the next day. Her mother is probably at her witts end with her and can't do anything else but yell. I don't know if I would be able to have patience with her, I would probably be a lunatic around her as well.
Leah & Corey are sooo cute, and I love how Joe is opening up again, I hope it works for them.
