Teeny, tiny red ants
Are these carpenter ants? I just noticed one today-- buy could have come in from outside or something. Just an ant or something to be worried about?

That's a spider mite. Red mites, super tiny, like a speck of dirt. Pretty normal to see one or two (was this by a window?) unless you see them loads of them I assume. Carpenter ants are large ants, and black, so no, def not that.

They are clover mites. I had a huge issue with them last year. They were coming in my windows on the side of the house where the sun hit. There were hundreds! I literally was vacuuming them off my wall so I wouldn't smear them trying to clean them up since they are so timy. I had to have an exterminator in. I noticed a couple this year and have been sprayed twice to prevent them from coming in. I live in a fairly new development and most of the homes had them, they think they came in when the planted the grass and put down the hay to cover the seed. They think the hay was the cause. Who knows, no hat this year but still have the bugs.
