teeth problems?
i was cuious if anyone experienced any problems w/ their teeth while pregnant?
i so far have cracked the bonding on the same tooth 3x's. its as if the bonding wont adhere to the tooth.
just now ~ a cap in the back of my mouth fell off!
why suddenly is everything "foreign" in my mouth just falling out?? could it be due to the pregnancy? or just a strange coincidence?

Re: teeth problems?
it could be due to the pregnancy because your gums are probably a little swollen

Re: teeth problems?
The gums have a tendency to change when PG - that I know. My dentist was rather impressed that mine weren't bleeding very much when he did my cleaning.

Re: teeth problems?
I had everything happen to my teeth when I was pg. The oral surgeon who did my extraction when I was around 16 weeks said that anything brewing pre-pregnancy will absolutely come to a head during pregnancy. Your gums naturally swell and your teeth become more sensitive and susceptible to damage and infection. It's so important to take care of them during pregnancy so an infection (if you have one) doesn't spread. I always push this only because I never want anyone to go through what I went through.

Re: teeth problems?
Yes...I had to get a wisdom tooth extracted a few weeks ago. My gum around it was very swollen & they said it looked infected. It was something that probably should have come out prior but i never did it since it never bothered me. Since then I've been cleaning my teeth as much as possible and flossing every night to prevent further issues. Getting a cleaning at the dentist in 2 weeks.
Definitely take care of it!

Re: teeth problems?
I have definitely been warned by family that when you are PG your teeth can give you problems. Prior to getting PG I had only one cavity in my life. During my second trimester I had many cavities filled and the dentist said I have more that are forming
