Telemarketers.. Going to throw my phone out the window soon

I keep getting these stupid calls from telemarketers on my cell phone. It's not even an actual person, it's a robotic voice. It calls from a different number everyday (ex: 555-1234 will call today, 555-1235 will call tomm, 555-1321 will call the next day)

Is there anyway to stop these? It's so frikken annoying! When I call back, people answer and are so confused. I think it's one of those things where they input a fake number to call me?

You can put a block on each individual number. I did that every time I got a call, which was multiple times a day, and eventually the calls stopped.

Can't stand all these stupid calls.
I would either ignore the call or answer and tell them to remove your number from their list.
Don't call them back.
I've read that doing so means that you reached out to them and the Do Not Call Registry does not apply in that case. Not sure how true that is but I'm not willing to chance it.

I got an app called "True caller". It has CHANGED my life.

If you get a spam call you can put the number in. If that number calls back then it can be listed as "spam". You will see your screen going "SPAM SPAM SPAM".

Its also fueled by others who use the app. So you get that benefit.

Someone put my number on a list. I was getting calls for 4 months non stop. Then I got 4 calls a week.

The calls got spread out more the less I picked up. So If I saw I was getting a call from "Washington" I just would not pick up. That's the key. If you don't pick up the call they stop calling you.

Then I got true caller AND I made sure my cell is on the "do not call" list. Voila. Within 2 months I have gotten NO spam calls at all.

Started a few weeks ago. I don't answer the call, block each individual number. Freaking annoying when my phone rings and it is not a real call.
I get nonsense text messages too, not as many as the phone calls.
DH picked up one of the calls, which I think validated my cell number.

Eta - I also added my cell to the do not call registry. Funny thing is that DH does not get spam calls on his cell. Yet at least.
