My mom is 50......she works full time in NYC. She loves loves loves to talk on the phone...geez she could be on the phone for hours and hours, I don't know how she does it lol. She doewn't really have hobbies per say, but when I was younger she would rhinestone and sequins all my dance competition costumes and she was really good at it.



ETA: she also put crystals on our wedding invites and did the crystals and ribbon on our wedding programs. She loves to put bling on stuff lol.

My mom is 51.

She raised 6 children pretty much on her own (my dad left 18 years ago and is not in the picture all that much).

She just sold her home (the one we grew up in ) but moved into a cute apartment in long beach and is enjoying a year or two being by the beach while she figures out exactly what she wants to do.

She works PT for my uncle who has a construction company. Prior to that she was a paralegal for years and before that a stay at home mom for about 20 years!

I am exhausted thinking about how much she's done, lol!!

My mom passed away in 1998 when i was 14. She was 39. Double brain aneurysm and stroke. I sometimes wonder what she would be doing if she were here.

I just spoke to my mom tonight. She's 67, retired with Dad, spends winters in The Villages in Florida and summers here in Oakdale NY.

She likes to hang out with her friends, golfs, and bowls too on a league. Otherwise, she really likes to entertain and keep in touch with everyone.

My Mom rocks.

My mom is 64 and retired 3 years ago. She was a SAHM until about a year after my younger brother died of Leukemia. Then she went to work for NYC Board of Ed and worked with severely and mentally retarded kids for 26 years.

My father just passed away last week and I really want her to start doing something to get out of the house whether is volunteering or joining some type of craft club or something like that.

My mom is 62 and patiently waiting for her first Social Security check! LOL

She lives downstairs from me. She is a very talented seamstress and made most of my clothes growing up. However, she stopped working to care for her mother in law and was never able to find work after that.

She is very religious and always has an immaculate house. She also cooks every single night. She NEVER takes shortcuts, never takes the easy way out, never leaves a dirty dish until tomorrow and would never even THINK of ordering out or going out to dinner if we didnt force her!

She watches my 5 month old DD now since I am back at work and is a LOVING grandmother to five grandchildren.

She is the best!

I just got her her first cell phone and she is figuring it out slowly - she even takes pictures of DD on it!

My mom rocks!!! She is 61 and is on the path to recovery in her battle with breast cancer.

She had a double mastecomy last month and will be starting radiation soon.

She takes some neighborhood kids on and off the bus for school.

She loves being with her family and going out... wherever, whenever.

But she is most excited to meet her first grandchild in 23 days!!!!!

She still works full time and plans on retiring in two years. She loves to read and shop. LOL

My mom is 68 years old & watches both my kiddos 3 days a week. She & my dad play bocce in their community & she's involved w/ the women's club & she & my dad entertain at least 2x a week! She's also a big reader & involved w/ the church.

My Mom (whose name is Mary as well!) is 58 years old. She stopped working right around the time that my oldest brother was born (he is going to be 37 in about a month). She was a SAHM. I only moved out a few months ago and my almost 35 year old brother lives with my parents, and I think she still mothers both of us.

She's had breast cancer since I was 12, (I'll be 25 in a few months), but she is doing very well.

She likes to do crafts, go out to dinner, shop, and clean. She LOVES to clean. She practically begs me to let her clean our house. I tell her that she doesn't have to do that, but she insists so I let her lol.

My Dad is 59 and works as a certified financial planner. He has been at the company since he was 16 years old, and his mother worked at the same place. He loves sports and horse racing.

As I've gotten older, they've started going out more, because I drag them out lol

Hi Mary!! she recently learned how to text lol and has no concept of the computer. she is very plain jane but in very excited to become a grandma

My mom is currently helping my sister take care of my sister's 3 month old twin babies. At times, she helps me out with my DD too.
