Tellers or 21 Main?
Which is a nicer envirnoment? I want a nice place for our anniversary where we ont be rushed out of KWIM?

I have never been to 21Main but recently went to Tellers and was not impressed at all. I really wasn't. I would not go back, but I know a lot of people on here really like it. I found the dining room area to be small and not impressive at all for the price. Our waiter was rude, and the service wasn't half as good as I expected for the price.
We went for Valentine's day (the Sat after) and I really sort of regretted it. Yes, the food was good but overall it was nothing special IMO.
I am curious to hear about 21Main.

21 Main - it's the same owners as Flowerfield, where I had my wedding..excellent food!

The ambiance of 21 Main is much softer then Tellers. I think it's more romantic. Tellers is good but it feels like a steak house.
ETA...the one time I went to 21 Main it was on a week day so it was very quiet and they did not rush us at all.
I went to Tellers on a Saturday night and while I didn't feel rushed, it was of course busier.

21 Main is fantastic. Order from the grill.
I used to be a big fan of Tellers - but my more recent visits were less than stellar.

Hands down 21 Main - I love that place.
We went for our anniversary - I figured if I couldn't go to Flowerfield again this was the next best thing. I even had them order for me a little cake from Audrey's that was a mini replica of our wedding cake.
The service was great and they were so excited when I told them about the cake - it was a great dinner.
Dang it Donna - now I want to go

without a doubt - 21 Main!
it's a much nicer atmosphere IMO than Tellers. it's cozy, romantic and everything there is 1st class.

never been to tellers, but have been to 21 main a few times
so i definately have to say my vote is for 21 main
Great service, atmosphere, and food!
and good martinis, i love their selection!

normally i would say tellers b/c the environment is great but i was so disappointed with our last trip. my family and i were literally squeezed into a back corner and were sitting on top of each other the entire meal - and several of the steaks had to be sent back, but were never fully cooked properly. it will be a while before i venture back there.

Have never been to 21 Main bit our last experience at Teller's was less than stellar as well. They totally forgot my order then rushed it through so it was black on the outside and still moo-ing on the inside. The Mgr did comp us some desserts and took the steak off my bill but I wanted my steak and by then I was too aggravated to eat
