Temp Question

This is my first cycle temping...Ithink I read that your temp. drops when you are about to get AF...am I right? If it does....does it drop to what it was before ovulation?

Thanks girls...I am 12 DPO and my temps are still in the upper 97s.

It does drop (at least for me it does). My temps drop to about where I was before I ovulated. HTH!

It usually drops below the coverline. For many, it doesn't drop until the morning of AF.

Yes my temperature drops right before I get AF. Generally I go from 98.5-ish post ovulation back down to 97.5-ish right before I get my period.

So yes, you're still in it! TCOYF says that sustained elevated temps can be one of the first indicators of pregnancy.

Yes, I have read this too. I am new to charting but experienced this my first cycle. My temps dropped to pre-o temps. I heard that if they stay elevated, it could be a sign that you are PG.

Last cycle, I was way above coverline until 13 dpo, when my temp dropped. My temp dropped even more the day after and then I got AF. Hopefully, yours stays up! good luck.
