That little girl died of the flu...not meningitis
I just saw on the news that flu season is late this year, and is supposed to peak next week.
And that was the cause of death for that little girl in Levittown. So sad.

so incredibly sad  i had the flu once, but i never knew it could be fatal. many many  for that poor family.

The girl had a twin sister  Such a heartbreaking story. These things nevr affected me so much until I became a mom!
