Thawing Turkey
I just bought my turkey today for Christmas day. It's about 18lbs. I just looked on the Butterball site and it says it takes 4.5 days to thaw! Do you think it will be ok to cook by Christmas?

It should. I would leave it out tonight and soak it in water.
If you have to work tomorrow stick it in the fridge but leave it out the next night.

It always soak my turkey in cold water........it thaws it out soooo fast.
