Re: The Bully Project

I was JUST talking to a colleague about this. Is it still rated R? I know my students need to see this. It should be rated PG-13.

Its actually not rated at all. It was originally rated R but there was a big push to have the rating changed to PG-13 so they decided to not give it a rating.

Re: The Bully Project

I have watched it a bunch of times showing various people and I can't help but cry each time. I am not an emotional person, but this just gets to me. I worry about my own children. It makes me so sad.

I just read about this documentary on NPR. I did watch the trailer but I don't think I'll be able to get through the movie and see how these poor kids are treated. Chat Icon

Re: The Bully Project

I just posted it on the Teachers thread too. I am a teacher and will definitely be talkign to administration next week. We have an anti-bullying campaign in all of the schools. This should be a part of it.

ETA: and the Parents with school age children...thank you for the original post. It's got me going now. Chat Icon

Re: The Bully Project

I've been reading about this movie a lot lately.

Seeing how powerful the trailer to this is I can't imagine how I will get through the entire movie. Chat Icon

EVERYONE should watch this movie - it should be shown in schools everywhere.

The horror stories I hear from my friends who are teachers in schools and see this go on are truly heartbreaking.

I can't imagine this happening to my DS. I would die a mililon deaths ten times over to prevent him from ever experience any bullying.
