The Captain's Straight Shooter of the Week Award
OK, I want to get this out of the way, since I am slammed at work and since much of the focus today will be on Deb once we get word.
The award this week goes to someone I have the utmost respect for. She is opinionated, but can back them up with solid facts and while she accepts other's thoughts and opinions, she never waivers from her point.
She's always there for support when you need it but her kindness is extensive on many levels.
And she's put me in my place on more than one occasion. 
It is my honor and privelege to give the first Straight Shooter Award to:

Wow, I have to say that I am totally surprised by this and did not expect it.
Don, I am very touched by your kinds words. You are definitely a straight shooter, and though we have had some differences of opinion, that never clouded my appreciation of your big heart, and I respect you tremendously.
I would have to say that I feel the same way about most of the wonderful people on this site. Though I certainly have my opinion on issues and have different opinions than many of you, I aim never to let it get personal. I have had some thought provoking and truly interesting political discussions with many of you, and I am glad that we can see through our differences and respect and care about one another as people. So thank you for the award, I am humbled ~ and here's to more straight shooting.
