The Captain's Straight-Shooter of the Week Award
Tania gave me the germ of an idea
We all know how much I despise sappy huggy lovey dovey people who bring nothing to the table other than a hug and a prayer and tell you "everything is going to be all right"
I want honesty
I want controversy
I want people who when someone asks for opinions, gives them that opinion, good or bad, popular or not.
So, next week, I debut the Captain's Straight Shooter of the Week Award.
I'm not accepting nominations - this is my perception only, you may agree, you may not.
I will select a person based on the above criteria and award them with a thumbs up from me and my unwaivering respect.

People who are genuinely lovey dovey and huggy people may be straight shooting... if that is how they genuinely feel, they are not being dishonest. Rudeness is not necissarily the same thing as honesty... and that is my straight shootin for the day

People who are genuinely lovey dovey and huggy people may be straight shooting... if that is how they genuinely feel, they are not being dishonest. Rudeness is not necissarily the same thing as honesty... and that is my straight shootin for the day
