The Color of Water?
Somebody gave it to me, I suppose to show there 'acceptance' of my interracial marriage *rolls eyes*. Is it any good?

Re: The Color of Water?
I read it a while ago and remember liking it very much. It's a memoir and if I remember correctly, it is written by the son of an interracial couple (mom was white and dad was black)

Re: The Color of Water?
I taught it last year, and honestly I didn't care for it that much-I know people who loved it however. To me it was slightly forced. The basic plot line was that there was an interracial/religious couple. The mother would only date/marry black men, and had quite a few children who all became successful in life. The story follows the life of the author (James McBride).
