The devil took my child overnight
Holy ****! This past week has been such a rollercoaster. 4 out of 5 days Madison has been so terribly miserable and mean. DH was home for the whole weekend and I was glad he got to see it firsthand. NOTHING made her happy. She even seems to have lost her appetite (which is a huge thing if you knew her...she LOVES to eat). Yesterday she was her old self again and I was happy the devil gave her back, but this morning she was back to her whining, crying, miserable self. I did some research online and sure enough it seems to describe the terrible twos to a T.
I ordered the book "How to Make the Terrible Twos Terrific" after reading a lot of good reviews. I just want my little munchkin to be happy. She used to throw things a lot, but it's now been replaced by hitting (me, the walls, the floor, chairs, whatever). She becomes frustrated in seconds if she can't figure out a toy or if she can't tell me what she wants. She just seems so unhappy. It's so unusual to see her smile. I hate this time, but I know that it can go on for awhile.
Any advice??

There is a terrific book that really helped me called "1-2-3 Magic". I know it is talked about on ubmom a lot, but it was really helpful for my husband and I. Best of luck!:)

Do you think maybe she isn't feeling well or is teething?

I thought that, but she has no fever and no new teeth coming in (she almost has them all). I was going to take her to the Dr. on Monday, but she was in a such a great mood so I nixed it. I may still take her soon if things don't get better...I don't want her to be in pain if she is. It honestly seems more to me like a behavioral thing though.

It could be, but I know Christopher has had a cold the past couple of days and he has been a beast as well, tantrums, crying, etc.
