The Divine Baby M is here! Name revealed!
Thank you Ivyqueenz (Sandra) for keeping everyone up to date!
I'll write a real birth story when I have time, but the short version is this:
After 23 hours of back labor, I agreed to Pitocin nd an epidural. (The baby was positioned incorrectly, and the midwife felt that stronger contractions would help her turn). The baby's heartrate promptly crashed, and I was rushed (literally had 15 people RUNNING me down a hallway) into the OR for an emergency c-section. She arrived at 7:12am on 11/30/10.
Recovery has been ok, but the c-section has made BFing challenging in a number of ways. I refuse to give up this early in the game, though. My beautiful baby girl is worth every rough moment.
