Re: The "dream feed"
I am still experimenting but what I do is put a boppy in the crib and rest him on it. I feed him his bottle-I do not burp unless he seems in distress. After he's done I slide the boppy out, lay him down and give him his binky and he usually goes to sleep within 5 minutes

Re: The "dream feed"
I had great success with dream feeding with my first DD. She would start her night sleep around 6PM so I would pick her up and nurse her around 10PM (right before I turned in for the night). She wouldn't open her eyes but would nurse like she was awake. When she unlatched from me, I would just put her right back in her crib...she didn't miss a beat....still sound asleep. Then she wouldn't wake up until 3 or 4 so it would give me a stretch of 4 or 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
I plan to dream feed again if I need to with my new DD. She is only 4 weeks old though so we have a little while before I will try it.
