The Hampton Classic ????
I received an exclusive invitation to attend the Hampton Classic next week. only one problem:
What the heck do you wear to such an event? 
and don't say LEG WARMERS (or any 80's fashion for that matter) - smart azzes!!

Unless you have people there you need to impress...
The event itself you can wear anything casual!
And wear flats!

have a great time! Dress comfortbly nd cool...most of the people I ahve seen int eh "privileged" section are dressed casua;;y Preppy.////bit its HOT there....so do not dress where u r going to sweat!

sundress or kakhis and a top with your best jewels...i second the flats, be aware you might get dirt between your toes if you have on sandals...no hat necessary if you are under a tent, hat very necessary if you are not...have fun, gotta love all the pomp associated with top notch equestrian events

probably won't be there....
i saw it on my honeymoon and didn't buy it (my only regret).....

i don't belong to the elite either!! I just happen to belong to a company that is a major sponsor of the event. they've designated one day to us, so i'm kind of psyched. i've never been to one. from what i know it's an equestrian event, with different levels of competition, and prizes. this year, my company is sponsoring the $100,000 'grand prix' portion of the event.
