Unfortunately, I have been there as well. My father passed suddenly of a heart attack at 51 (a week after my 1st date with DH). And, my FIL passed last summer when I was 7 months pregnant with DD. DH & I remind ourselves that DD was brought into our lives (and MIL) to bring so much joy and new life to such a sad time. I hope this will help comfort you somewhat too.
