The light at the end of the tunnel!
With all these posts from busy moms wondering when just a fraction of our lives will be our own again I wanted to share a simple, but huge thing that happened in my house today that is making me see the light at the end of the preschooler and toddler non stop tunnel.
My 3 1/2 year old has finally agreed to take showers and I put him in there, he washed himself and I was able to sit on the edge of my tub and give myself a mini pedicure while DS was taking his shower! I had 10 minutes to myself!
The freedom I will have will be huge, once this kid learns to tie his shoes!

 I know it too! DS has been taking showers for the past year or so, and it saves sooo much time! And now that my DD is starting to potty train, I'm on my way to freedom (ok, so that's a huge llie, but humor me here!)

You'll be in the clear soon! Our kids are the same distance apart....days shy of exactly two years and I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the day where I can take them to dinner or on vacation when they are like 3 and 5 years old. No cyring babies, no cranky toddlers... Ah...life will be swell.

Im still waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel!!!! I'd rather have them stay little.....
Crying babies and cranky toddlers turn into sullen teenagers and snarky preteens!!!!
