The Melting Pot in Farmingdale
So I think I figured out where the Melting Pot is going in Farmingdale. I am pretty sure it is going in front of the Walmart near the new Courtyard by Marriot. They put a Panera there and a Chilis is opening soon. There is a separate building that it is going to be in. When I mapped the address on the website that is where it is.
I am so excited!!!

Weird.  Maybe they decided on the newer site (can't say I blame them since Greenfield's would have to be condemned anyway). I don't care where they open, I just can't wait to dip!!

Wow they are putting a Houlihans and a Chili's right next to each other? Interesting.
Well then it looks like Houlihans will open a lot sooner than Melting Pot.

When we were at the Melting Pot in CT, the owner (who also owns the LI one) told us it will be where Greenfields was. DH said they have finally begun working on the inside- he has seen a lot of work trucks there lately on his way to/from work. Hopefully it will be ready soon!!!
I had also heard that the other building by Walmart is going to be a Houlihans. So exciting to have so much nearby!!

I cannot wait to try Melting Pot. We drove past 2 weeks ago and nothing was being done to Greenfields.

I have seen them working on the melting pot for over a week now, looks like they are gutting the inside.
As far as houlihans goes...they were advertising one in Farmingdale for about 2 1/2 years now....I started giving up

I have never heard of the melting Pot before. Sounds like a yummy place. Is it just Fondue, or they serve dinner there as well??

They serve cheese, then a broth course to cook different meats and then chocolate- its a four course meal!
