I'm sorry. I have to say I am SO proud of you though! You don't deserve to be treated like that and frankly, he doesn't deserve you! Any weight that you want to lose, any appearance changes, etc.. should be done to make YOU feel better and make YOU feel more attractive! Tell him to eat his heart out when you serve him the papers!

You are definitely doing the right thing. Its wonderful that you realize that you deserve better. My parents marriage was the second for both of them. My mother always taught me that you don't have to pay forever for a mistake you made. Plus, by leaving, your son will learn how to treat women with respect and love.
I will get some names of attorneys for you and FM them to you.
