The New 2006 Toyota Camry

What a beautiful car. There is one parked right next to mine, and I could have saved myself 20 grand if I would have got the Camry.

If anyone is looking for a decently priced sedan, I suggest checking it out.

DH wants to ge a Scion this winter.

What car would you like to be your next?

Re: The New 2006 Toyota Camry

Right now we have the Scion Xb & a Dodge 1500 Ram pick up. Next I think we are looking at an old SUV, like a 1987 Bronco to restore, and I think I want a hybrid SUV, maybe the Highlander or the Lexus hybrid SUV.

DH works for Toyota & I like the Camry, just not my kind of car. If you like a sedan though it is fabulous. My MIL just got one & it rides very smoothly & is quite comfy.

Re: The New 2006 Toyota Camry

We are actually thinking of the camry as DH's next car. I just got a new car a couple of months ago, so he's waiting for another year or so.

Re: The New 2006 Toyota Camry

I haven't started thinking about a new car yet, I have 2 years left on my lease.. I think DH wants to get a used "nicer" car though, like a lexus or something.

I think you're referring to the 2007 Camry, that's the one with the new body. My co-worker has it in a hybrid. It's gorgeous and she takes the HOV lane with one passenger. Looks just like the Lexus.

if that's the C230 or 280 what ever they are calling it now- I would rethink it

mine had MAJOR problems and they actually took it back 2 years early

it cost a lot to maintain- $210 for an oil change and service A serivce B is $500 and both are required

alot of people I have spoken to who have the car all have problems- mostly electrically- mine would stall and not start as the main problem

sorry to crush your dream- it was my dream car also- until it became a huge nightmare

I gave it back and got the SUV- the difference is amazing- it feels like what a MB should be

I had tons of problems- for the price of the car- it wasn't worth it- the 3 series BMW comes with maintaince
the lexus and acura in that class do also

I am a happy camper with my ML 350- but the payment is alot higher- and so is the gas

but the car is much safer- I used to skid in the rain and forget about the snow- that was scary- I was going sideways once down park ave in Long beach while people in BMWs and lexus were fine

I would never want anyone to go thru what I did- the service department knew the sound of my voice

plus the tires are z rated tires which belong on high performce cars and cost $250 each at the cheapest- and only last 20K miles

I could go on and on- it was a nightmare and very stressful

I have the new Accord and I love it. But the 2007 Camry (which I think is the one Kristen is referring to and erroneously referred to as the 06) is gorgeous.
