Recent internets rumors have the basis of the show to pit House guests against each other based on strong views they have. Such as Politics, religion, Vegetarians, PETA, foreign policy and world events.
Recent runner up commented on being contacted by CBS producers today about not making the cut Jokers

The assumption is that I’ve been able to post this because the HG are now in sequester or maybe even in the house - assumption, and you know what that makes me, right?
The casting is going to have a slightly conservative vs. liberal angle.
A recently divorced Koren-American tomboy.
A 35 year old gay rodeo cowboy who’s a bit prejudiced himself.
A 25 year old who doesn’t consider himself a bartender.
A 53 year old New Orleans socialite.

by the commercials im a bit disappointed.. they look like phonies.. like people who claim to be something and arent. I got a feeling it wont be a great season. I hope im wrong.

“The HG entered the house a little before 6pm tonight.
Julie Chen wore this beautiful red dress. She looked outstanding!
Before entering the house the HG voted on HOH based strictly on looks. You might be surprised who they chose.
There was some confusion about the beds. For an hour Jerry was going to be sleeping in the Spa Room. He ended up in the Punk Room with Jessie and Brian.
Memphis found a coon skin “Davey Crockett” hat and put it on immediately. Great first impression.
Angie asserted herself early. She’s definitely an alpha female.
Everyone wanted Jerry to do the toast and he didn’t disappoint. He’s endeared himself to 99% of the others.
Steve didn’t reveal he was gay to everyone.
BB9 Jen’s memory wall picture crying fit was mocked.
Angie is the only smoker and Steve chews Copenhagen.
Jessie will be the trainer of the house and they’re planning on getting up early to work out. We’re taking bets how long that’ll last.
April and Libra bonded and are suspicious of Renny.
This early in the game it’s Libra, Jerry, Renny, and Brian who are “the cool kids”. Typical first night in the BB house where everyone loves each other. Day 2 will be another story.

From what the house looks like, one room looks like a little girls room and one room looks like a little boys room. Another room looks like a college dorm room.
The house set up is kinda funky and fun.
Julie Chen gives a tour and it should be airing tonight on ET

whoo-hoo! my summer obsession is almost here!
i already looked at the cast on cbs.com and so far i am rooting for the older man and the young Catholic school teacher! i think the 2 of them will make it interesting and seem to be so unlike the rest of the house.

From looking at the profiles, they are certainly stacking it to make it interesting.
Not like the past couple of seasons where they were just pretty faces without substance.
