The Passing of time and TTC
This is our third cycle of ttc and I can honestly say that I have wished away most of the past three months and I feel so guilty about it. I do have lots of fun with our DD but I feel like despite my best efforts I am totally consumed with ttc and that until we get our BFP I will continue to wish the days away.
Does anyone else feel this way?

Re: The Passing of time and TTC
Word for word I did until after the third month. At that point I stopped because like you...I was feeling that I was taking time away from my child. That was this weekend...it was all about him...and it felt really good to stop thinking of my life in terms of 2 weeks and test. Kinda like a rush so I am trying to keep with it. Who knows...maybe it's just what I needed.

although i dont have a child yet , i can completely understand where you are coming from.. it just consumes everything! that you wish the next day will come already.. but you havent enjoyed that day! where we really should, i am learning all this , little by little

Re: The Passing of time and TTC
TTC is definitely consuming me! We are trying ot have our first, but the time between AF an O and then testing and or waiting for AF just seems to take forever. It is so hard not to blurt out all the details of TTC to everyone I come within three feet of!

Re: The Passing of time and TTC
Actually when I am with my DS I don't really give TTC a second thought.
It's when I'm on the computer and sitting here alone with my own thoughts that it gets the best of me.

Re: The Passing of time and TTC
yes! we are trying for our first but the months are slipping by and all i've done is put off this or that b/c of TTC. this month i've decided to do something for myself totally unrelated to TTC and it feels great. i just wish i could get back to feeling "normal" again.

Re: The Passing of time and TTC
Believe me that is the way I have been feeling. It is not healthy it is all I think about .. Since I had a mc/ 6 months ago... i have been obsessed to the point that I could not sleep at night worrying and thinking and hoping.
But I just recently starting going to the gym, I am looking for volunteer opportunities. I need to do something for myself, something that makes me feel good ...
