I was hoping you would get better news. Now that your RE has told you all this information you can focus on getting your BFP. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm sorry for so much of this being confusion and no new answers for you. I hope that a urologist can help you find some answers.

What he did say that I appreciated was that every clinic does things different, and the only one that does things the best is the one that gets you PG.

another, no explanationChat Icon

Basically we are still sticking with the diagnosis of male factor.

I asked about immune testing and he said this is only an issue with people with pregnancy loss, which I dont have

I asked about low estrogen and he said well, we can put you on it, it cant hurt

I asked about my allergies and bacterias I have had... he said its unrelated.

:

I am pretty sure immune issues do not only apply to pregnancy loss-have you read Dr. Beers analysis on his website where you can take a "test" to see if you have immune issues?

Low estrogen can definitely cause problems. Follicular defects is what is most likely causing my losses and is directly related to estrogen in the beginning of your cycle-what are your cd 3 estrogen numbers?

Allergies are known immune reactions. bacteria that is Dr. Toths arena and you can read his e-book and take his test as well.

I've gotten the whole "unexplained" excuse too. I said to a friend-my body is trying to tell me something but I can't hear it! I think your body is telling you something you just have to find the right Dr to help you interpret it.

Pauline, I just wanted to send myChat Icon Chat Icon I am not sure what to say, I know you must be disappointed not having answers. It's easier to KNOW what the issue is and attack it, even if it's difficult, but to just not know...UGH. Hang in there, I keep saying this, that 07 is a lucky year for many girls on this board...I hope it turns into your year too.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: The result of my Cornell consult is

I am sorry you didn't find out more from your visit....Which doctor did you see? I am also a patient at Cornell...I am 100% fine but the problem is DH, we are dealing with MF..

He is also a patient at Cornell and sees Dr. Marc Goldstein and Dr Schlegel who are the best urologists in the country specializing in male infertility....let me know if you need their info...

Cornell is the only clinic in the country that works very closely with the urology department...so if the problem is MF then I would highly suggest you stick with Cornell......

good luck!

Re: The result of my Cornell consult is

Sorry you didn't get any answers. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I have auto immune issues and mfm said they can inhibit implantation. My issues were ignored most of my life. My doctors said I just had allergies and that some kids just get sick a lot Chat Icon . It wasn't until 2 years ago when my PCP found that I had a persistant +ANA during my routine physicals. He was concerned and sent me to rhuematology. Long story short if you go for a routine physical with your PCP he can run basic bloodwork. That will let you know about basic antibodies (ANA) and your blood cell counts which are usually off in AI patients. Good luck and sorry you haven't gotten any difinitive answers Chat Icon Chat Icon
