The short sale I am buying was delisted?
It also says Great Audubon Society or something on it with a little cartoon whale or fish (on the map)???
I asked my real estate agent who will get back to me tomorrow and Ill call the lawyer for an update.
The sellers and I signed the contract and I was preapproved. Were just waiting on the banks approval.
*keeping fingers crossed* knowing my luck, the sellers might have backed out or something.

As soon as we signed the contract our house was taken off MLSLI.

It wouldn't work that way for a short sale. With a short sale, the buyer and seller sign contracts that are subject to third party (i.e., bank) approval. Once the contracts are signed, then the status on the realtor version changes to PBA ("pending bank approval"), and it still shows as available on both the realtor and consumer mls websites.
That's different from a traditional sale. As you said, once contracts are signed, the status gets changed to "under contract" and the property no longer shows up as an available listing on MLS and other real estate websites.

Im confused - so it is confusing right? They wouldnt remove it for a short sale right? And off of all the sites in the same day?

No - it wouldn't be removed because it's under contract, pending bank approval. It should still show as available.
It's possible that the listing agent's listing agreement expired, and that's why it's down from the MLS and related sites.
Was Jannette able to get you any more info? I know she offered to look into it for you. If you still need info, and can't get in touch with your realtor, you can send me the MLS # by FM, and I'll take a look for you.
