The whole family went to Montauk a few weeks ago
For our anniversary. And found a pet-friendly rental at Hither House. We had a one bedroom cottage that was clean and cozy. Not the most up to date inside, but just fine for us. Very close to town, right off Old Montauk Highway. We went the last pre-season weekend to save money. We'd definitely go back!
Anyway, we found a beach that allows dogs and off we went the first morning, Brinkley had a blast. Here's a few pics.

Thanks everyone!
Stephanie, I got it from Petco. It's lighter than a regular Kong and the bottom of it squeaks. We only bring it out for special occasions because he'd rip the fabric apart in 10 minutes if we let him.

It's funny you say that. Brinkley doesn't "like" the water either. This time he sniffed around a little in the water and actually stood in it for a few moments. But otherwise, he's just retrieving things out of it!
Brinkley wasn't introduced to swimming until he was 10 months old so I think that has something to do with it. Although, I guess some dogs just don't like water. Even if they are Labs!
I'd love to get them together. Have you ever been to Gardiners Park in Bayshore? How is Kasey off-leash?
