Well, I think we should head on over to the career board. Maybe we could start a few threads. Maybe one for elem. ed., etc. I'm so curious to know if I'm the only special area teacher. 
I agree. I really think another board would be overkill (plus why should we be the only career to have their own board). The career board doesn't move too fast, so stuff shouldn't get lost.

Although I would love our own board, I agree, it wouldn't really be fair. I have always thought maybe I should post my teacher related questions on the career board, but I know it doesn't get much traffic so I post here. If we all agree to use the career board I think it would be great! You know (especially in the beginning of the year) we are going to need a place to vent, share ideas, ask questions, etc.

I would be happy to use the career board for any future teaching-related postings. Is there a good way let people know that we'll be posting over there? I otherwise rarely go there so if I hadn't seen this post I wouldn't know to go there.

not that I want to take away from this fabuloso site, BUT there are a lot of teacher websites out there, including , teachers.net which has chatboard for different levels etc. It's been very helpful for me. This one is much more fun though and I too have thought of suggesting a teacher board
