There is a cricket in my kid's room!

They are not harmful right...of course as I am rocking DS to sleep I hear the loudest chirping and see a cricket crawling near the ceiling...then next time I looked it disappeared. I heard it chirping again but did not see it. Now I'm picturing it crawling in the crib but of course i don't want to ransack the room looking for it and wake up the baby...they aren't dangerous right? Gross!

just because i'm bug crazy (i hate them and am petrified of some of them too) - i wouldn't have him sleep in there tonight - but that's just me!

OMG we have been finding crickets in the babies' room almost every day. We have no idea how we are getting in there.
They don't seem to bother the babies, I don't know how they sleep through the chirping, it is so loud.

But to answer your question, no they are not dangerous.

they arent dangerous, but this happened to my ds when he was a baby..what i did since i was afraid to spray any kind of bug spray was i would spray hairspray, not aerosol..just spray (dont laugh lol) in the cracks, and directly on them..so this way the smell wasnt heinous, and they would die.
ugh i just now remember how nasty that was..
surprisingly i used to get them all the time and i probably just jinxed myself!

I don't think they are dangerous. There is one in my garage and the chirping is driving me crazy. The Rainforest soother has a cricket chirping sound. It is freaking me out everytime DS turns it on.
