There is no free age at the movies, right?

We went to see Winnie the Pooh today. I got my tickets through Fandango so I didn't ask - just bought 4 tickets.
DH thinks I shouldn't have bought one for Colin (he is 21 months tomorrow). I figured there are no free ages (aside from bringing an infant I guess) at the movies.
Did I waste $8?

It probably depends on the theater. I know Island 16 in Holtsville does have free under a certain age...can't remember if it's 2 or 3 though

I am pretty sure he is free. Under 3 is usually free.

Same here. DS is almost 3 and a little on the tall side but no one even asked about him.

I went to see Winnie the Pooh last weekend and was surprised to find 2 and under tickets were free. My DD is 2 so she got in free. If the movie you are going to let's kids under a certain age in free they may refund your money for the ticket.
