What age did you first take your DC to the movies?

We took DS to see Toy Story 3 this past summer...he was 3. He did a great job sitting through it so it seemed to be the right age for him.
Not sure about kid friendly...we went to a theater in Bayside and since it was a kiddie movie it worked out well.

I've heard that Island 16, which is at exit 61/62 of the LIE has a 'kids showing'. I'm not sure how often it is, but I know it is during a weekday.
