A family friend was just read by her a few months ago. She took someone else's place last minute at a group reading so as far as I know she didn't give anyone her info. Theresa was able to tell our friend things she did/said to her sister who was on life support. No one else was in the room at the time, and no one else knew these details. Could it be a coincidence? I guess... All I know is this friend had spent years agonizing over making the decision to take her sister off of life support and now after her reading she feels a sense of peace knowing she did the right thing.
Wanted to add even though the group reading was televised, her actual reading was not.
If the group she was with was televised, the girl that was a "last minute replacement" in the group had to sign a release, so they had to have known her name.

I don't know anything about her.
I DO know that I ran into a family she read on her show here on LI. It was a random meeting at a store in Hicksville.
They said she nailed it and had no idea they would run into her.
When it comes to celebrity It makes me crazy that ONE person can say ONE thing, and then its all over the news as true.
Just because its printed (said) does NOT make it true.

Sure they most likely had her name. But no amount of google searches will tell you what she told her sister on her death bed. Again it could be a coincidence but I know our family friend swears she felt it was legit.

I don't get how she an just make stuff up on the spot. I know of three families that were on the show and know the back stories and she nailed each one!
i don't watch the show but were these 3 families just picked randomly?
This is why I don't trust these people. I feel like unless you give a fake name before making an appointment they can just look up information on you before you get there.
They were all on her show in a group reading (different episodes), so they obviously sought her out and were attending the readings in hopes to connect with their loved ones.
I want to believe in them. My friends SIL went to a reading with one litteraly last minute so the medium had no idea she was there and the medium read her and was very accurate which make me believe maybe some are real

Ahhh okay... Radar Online isn't the most reputable site.
Who knows it could be true, or it could be someone who went in with high expectations and she didn't meet them & now is putting her on blast.

She researches everyone she reads. You give contact info so even for her "private" readings she can do research on you and your family. In the age of social media it is very easy to get tons of info on people. Also "mediums" are good at asking the right questions and reading peoples reactions.
As for the show - its reality tv. NOTHING is as it seems.
this is not true. Like most (if not all) mediums, she takes as little information as possible. FIRST name and phone number.
It actually says on her website to leave NO details if you request a reading with her.
When she read my mother, she only had her first name and phone number. This was before the social media age and it was spot on and very impressive.

You can reverse search a phone number. I used to do skip traces and if you give me a phone number within minutes I can find out tons about you with the right computer programs. I don't even need a name.

Years ago a young mom I know, who was married to a well known Psycic, fled from him with their baby as he was dangerously abusive to her. She went to stay with a friend. He called me to find out where she was - I knew, but wasn't about to tell him and compromise her safety. I laughed at him and teased him that as nationally renown psychic,
he couldn't even find his own wife. He was a fraud. As is my former brother-in-law who makes millions every year as a self help guru.

I hope it's not true. I have only seen her show once when a classmate from HS was on who lost her mom at a young age. This classmate and I had been friends when we were small and I knew her mom and there was something in the reading that I remembered about her. It was eerie but also comforting, and my classmate seemed to really get something good from the experience.
Of course she seemed to get something good from it, it's TV. They aren't going to air "unhappy" people 
True, though my classmate posted on FB as well and stated she was pleased with the reading. Of course, for all we know she signed an agreement saying she would not say anything negative, so who knows.

My family had 3 private sessions with her before she got the show. We found her to be amazing. Most of what she told us was related to things that even the most amazing Google expert could not come up with. She talked about personal connections and events that would never be found online. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but we found her to be the real deal.

Personally, I think she has the "gift" and can read people and sees things. I feel like maybe she initially did it to help people while making a little bit of money. I also think that she seems to forget where she came from (so to speak) now that she's famous. I heard she now charges a fortune, and has about a 4 year waiting list. Personally I could see that maybe she now has help and researches people or has staff to do it. It's reality tv and all her "knowledge" of strangers keeps her relevant and grows the list. Maybe, because I have a touch of a sixth sense/ ESP as does my family, is why it bothers me more. I just feel like she's gotten too big for her britches and I'm glad that this may bring her back to reality or down a notch. Anyone who has this gift/ curse and wants to help as much as she claims to on tv doesn't charge the amounts I hear she does.
Edited to add: I used to be a huge fan but have been disillusioned by her for awhile now.Especially after hearing or reading about people desperately waiting to see her for years. But since they may not make for good tv they wait without even hearing back.

My friend was read by her years before she became famous. She would go to people's houses. She knew things about my friend that no one else did. She even knew that her friend was pregnant before she knew. The following week she found out she was expecting. I think she is the real deal but I am sure a lot is hyped up for the show.

I have mixed feelings about mediums.
I don't know if I would ever go to one because personally, I feel like it's a waste of money.
I also know there are ones that take advantage of vulnerable people.
But honestly, the same could be said about so many things that bring people joy.
I go to yoga.
I've heard people say yoga teachers and people who practice are part of a cult or satanic.
I think there was even a heated thread on LIF once about this topic.

Exactly! Any "medium" can say to any person "I see a father figure that has passed." and it would almost always be true. Who hasn't lost either a father, grandfather or uncle? But it's when they come out with a specific phrase or a very specific detail about something that proves their authenticity. There's a million things, private jokes if you will, that my husband and I have between the two of us that endless amounts of google searches, facebook checkings and computer programs could never find out. And it's stuff like that that I would expect to hear if god forbid my husband passes and I get a reading done.

I believe some mediums are the real thing. According to the bible they do exist. I would never go to one because I have different believes.

Exactly! And it seems the people who insult are the ones who have never had an experience with her. To each their own, but I don't know how people who have had no experience can comment. But I guess this is LIF after all.
