Thank GOD. It was very scary knowing a psychopath like that was on the loose.
What I will never understand is why he had to shoot those people? I am sure they would have given him whatever he wanted without a fight.
It's just so senseless.

It is terrifying to think that to addicts, no one elses life matters when they need to get high. Especially since painkiller addiction is such an epidemic on LI.
The only thing I can imagine is that he had been in that pharmacy before and didn't think there were any cameras (since they were recently installed). So if he got rid of any witnesses there was no way he would be caught. But he was just so non-chalant about it, who knows. Maybe he just didn't care. It takes a special kind of animal to execute four people including a teenage girl and a 71 year old man.

How curious, if it was his mother that was taken into custody also.
I was just told they believe it was his wife.
After looking through their LIW pictures, I believe that's who it was that was being led out in the yellow shirt. Definitely not his mother. From what I see in the pictures, she is much older.

There is absolutely nothing that could justify what this disgusting, pathetic excuse for a man did. To go into a pharmacy and coldly murder 4 innocent people without so much as giving them a chance so that he could support his addiction to prescription drugs is incomprehensible to me. I can't even wrap my brain around it.
I hope he rots and suffers for the rest of his life in jail.
