In some ways - in terms of keeping feelings in and just losing it once or twice a year. 
Other than that, nothing really. They do have the same color hair though -like a dark blonde.

I do think that DH and my dad have very similar qualities as far as being family-oriented, family man goes.

look like: hmmm.....DH is taller and thinner, but has the same dark hair.
They have similar personality traits though

There are some qualities in Rich that my father possesses as well - both extremely hardworkers, responsible, respectful, lighthearted sense of humor, etc...

Psycologists say you usually marry a person like one of your parents... either your mother or your father... and for good or for bad.
DH was married once before and he knows his ex had ONLY the worst qualities of his dad and none of the good ones.
I am sooooo like his mom it's not even funny. We are both high school teachers, both the oldest in our family, both take care of our Dad, and both are always going non-stop. We even bought the exact same car
Yes, DH has my Dad's sense of humor and his gentleness. I just wish he was handy like him.
