Things to do w/a 5 year old
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but my ds is little so I usually skip over those posts.
My 5 y/o niece is coming in from England next month & we're looking for some new ideas...have you got any? 
We're going to do the LICM & probably hit up a local bouncy place as well (we're in western Suffolk), but I can't think of anything else. Please help!

My five year old enjoys herself wherever we go, so I don't think you need to go crazy looking for "kid" stuff--don't underestimate a child's interest in "adult" things! I would think she'd love all that NY touristy stuff...my DD would flip for that!

The Zoo...The Bronx, Queens or Central Park.
Museum of Natural History
A stroll in Times Square
Movies
Aquarium...Atlantis is small but a nice day trip.
Look to see if there are any plays for her...Patchogue or Theater 3.

Thanks ladies! Unfortunately I only get to see her once or twice a year so I have no idea what she'll be like now. It's good to hear from moms who have experience
We did the Bronx Zoo last time and she LOVED it, so maybe we'll try again (weather permitting). The aquarium & a play are also great ideas - thanks so much!
