Things to do while waiting for baby?
This is my third week working from home and I feel like I'm going to lose my mind.
What should I be doing (aside from working, of course)? Keeping in mind that I'm huge and have pelvic pains that make walking challenging. I've had a couple of lunch dates, but is there anything around the house I should be accomplishing? Trying to keep up with the cleaning as best I can. Nursery is together. Bottles and nipples sterilized. Freezer meals in the freezer and ready to go.
Ideas?? I've also been napping and watching a lot of daytime tv.

Read a book, watch a movie and relax! You wont get to do those things for awhile uninterrupted!

I would sit outside and read a book. That's a thing of the past for me.
Honestly, I would keep the house neat and clean so you can let it go a bit when baby comes. And just do things for you, relaxing things, keep your body and mind calm before you have to so intently focus on someone else!

Things to do while waiting for baby?
I had a ton of time waiting around for my first. I read a lot including one book on breastfeeding which was really helpful (breastfeeding made simple). I also got my adresses updated and got alist together for birth announcements, stocked up on thank you cards, return address labels and stamps which was really helpful.

Sit down and relax. Nap nap nap...don't worry about all the other stuff just relax. Once that baby is here sleep and you time are OVER for a good while so enjoy the last days of peace and quiet.

Sleep as much as you can. Relax as much as you can. Enjoy going out to run a quick errand without having to pack a diaper bag, load up the car with said bag and baby and stroller/carrier.

I'm right there with you. Where is this baby?!
I've been doing small organizing and cleaning projects around the house and we've gone out to eat several times since we know we will be house trapped for a bit. Trying to walk when my pelvis doesn't hurt too bad
A lot of online shopping and a trip to marshals yesterday. I'm going insane!

You probably won't want to be bothered but I kind of wish I took care of all my mailings before baby was born (i.e., addressed announcement envelopes and thank yous). I'm still working on this lol.

start filling out the baby book if you can. i wrote a letter to the baby and filled out the page about the shower and plan to print pic of the room this week. also going to preaddress envelopes for the birth announcements. if you plan to baptise your baby then call the church see if you need to take a class that will also be easier without a baby. i have to wait to june and the baby will be here but i figure at least i have it scheduled lol

Filling out addresses is a great idea Sleep your ass off go to a not kid friendly place to eat Make sure your linen closet is all set with clean things so you don't have to worry about doing a lot of laundry

You are speaking my language queens gal!!
Thank you to everyone else who chimed in. I will be getting our address book together for announcements, maybe even pick a few out and get them started!
Good idea about doing linens too. I know we have a pile of towels and sheets down in the laundry room.
I will keep trying to keep up with light cleaning around the house, but holy pelvic pain. TY!!!
