Things to do with toddlers on the weekends
Hi there! I just found this board. How exciting!
I work during the week and it seems like all the library storytimes, classes, etc. are geared around SAHMs and during the week.
Can anyone recommend things to do with a 2 year old - especially inside things until the weather gets nicer - on the weekends?
I'm in Melville so not too far away...

I also live in Melville and you are right most of the things to do are during the week for the most part. I am a SAHM but on the weekends I've taken them to MCDonald's either in E. Northport or Hicksville, they both have play areas. We also go to Broadway Mall to their indoor play area. The Dix Hills Branch Library offers Sat. programs. My kids just did a Valentine's craft there. They also have pajama storytime in the evening. We've also done Long Island Children's Museum in Garden City. It's tough when the weather doesn't permit them to go play outdoors, especially when there's so many places to go. It shouldn't be much longer though. How old is your DC?
